Facilitator
My aim as a facilitator is to make the world of theatre accessible for as many people as possible. I recognise that I won’t always be able to see the barriers in your way, so I try to listen to the individual needs of the people I’m working with to provide a tailored environment in which we can thrive. I’ve worked extensively across several different kinds of facilitation.
Professional Theatre - I’ve provided support in the room for theatre projects. I’ve worked with dancers to increase their confidence when acting, supported actors through R&D work, and advocated for disabled creatives to get the accommodations they need.
Community Projects - Theatre is for everyone and should be accessible to everyone. In the past I’ve worked on projects that engaged with refugee and disabled communities, and provided holiday support for lower income families.
Youth Theatre - I’ve run weekly youth theatre sessions and provided workshops in schools, colleges and universities.
One to one sessions - I run private acting classes either online or in person. I’ve supported performers in preparing for drama school auditions or exams, and helped others to reconnect to their creativity after some time away.
